2. They mocked me for being a bother.

4. I caught sight of some teenagers littering.
5. Conversation punctuated with vulgarities could be heard.
6. I was drenched in perspiration as I trudged home.
7. Dumbstruck, the guilt-stricken teenagers hung their heads in shame.
8. Instead of having a guilty conscience, the irresponsible teenagers burst out laughing.
9. Feeling righteous, I stomped up to them and chided them for being inconsiderate.
10. I went into the void deck to protect myself from the punishing heat of the sun.

1. Curiosity got the better of me.
2. A pungent smell invaded my nostrils.
3. A stench of rotten food filled the air.
4. “Clean up the mess!” I said between clenched teeth.

7. Embarrassed, the boys quickly helped to clear up the litter.

9. My blood boiled when I saw the mess at the void deck.

10. Although I met with no harm, the thought of the figure still haunts me like a nightmare
till this very day.

7. A man feigned ignorance and placed his bags onto the empty seat.
8. The man flushed red with embarrassment as he removed his bags immediately.
9. It was stifling to be surrounded by commuters standing like a wall around me.
10. I was very proud of myself when the lady praised me for doing a good deed.

5. His chubby cheeks swelled as he beamed with pride.

7. Mother gave me a pat on the back for being a courteous child.
8. I was over the moon when my neighbour praised me for being polite.
9. His face lit up with a smile when he was complimented by his teacher.
10. The lady was impressed by his willingness to go the extra mile for others.

1. Smiles were plastered on our faces.
2. Mother choked back tears of happiness.
3. Grandmother broke into a toothless grin.
4. The hilarious scene left her in stitches.
5. The children laughed so hard their stomachs hurt.
6. I was ecstatic when I heard the good news.
7. I heard peals of laughter coming from the room.
8. The winners were greeted with thunderous applause and wolf whistles.
9. Father flashed a wide smile when he heard the wonderful news.
10. I was overjoyed to see that my hard work has paid off.
